A deep golden-orange hue provides the backdrop for a well-balanced, medium bodied ale. Hop flavor and aroma are distinctly American with a spicy, citrus finish.
Editor’s note: Sold as Mackinac Summer Ale (5% ABV) in Sweden. (2008)

Bottle, 5.0% as Mackinac Summer Ale. The aroma is hoppy and caramelly. Clear amber colour, fizzy head. The flavour starts off sweet, but there is some bitterness to balance. Tastes stronger than 5% which also balances off the sweetness.

12 oz. bottle. Rather malty/bready aroma with a light citrus whiff. Amber color with a decent beige head. Medium bodied with coarse carbonation. Starts with citrus hop, followed by roasted malt. Turns freshly fruity for a moment, then finishes with tag ends of malt and more than tag ends of bitter. Very refreshing and drinkable. Seems well balanced.
