Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Mom's Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to take the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma is dominated by strawberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of strawberries and malt, leading to a dry fnish.

Bottle shared by Adam at my wedding, thanks! Pours a cloudy deep ruby red with a pink hue and a pink head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tuns of rhubarb and sweet strawberry throughout. Flavor has sweet rhubarb and strawberry up front that has a bit of tartness for balance in the finish.

Bottle while camping. Pours cloudy brown with a medium somewhat fizzy head. Aroma is fruity, strawberries prominent, with some lactic tartness present. Flavor is sweet and a bit of tart, strawberry with just a touch of that rhubarb flavor I remember best from my mom’s pies as a kid. Quite good as a desert sipper, and every bit as good as the rest of the NG fruit beer lineup.

From a 750ml bottle. This one poured a vibrant, bright red color with a pink head. Aroma was quite a bit like fresh strawberries. This was pretty damn good and really enjoyed this one. So much strawberry. It reminds me of eating a strawberry rhubarb pie, though it was a bit light on the rhubarb unfortunately. At ~7%, this wasn’t a booze bomb, and made it highly, and dangerously drinkable. Very crisp, very refreshing.
