12.7 oz corked and caged from Grocery Outlet. Aroma has notes of grain, bread, Smarties, clove, cherry, plum, licorice. Pours hazy brown with amber highlights and a two finger beigeish-white head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bittersweet with a savory note and flavors like the aroma. Really foamy mouthfeel. Nice beer.

Pretty good stuff. I really like the toasty aspect to it it's another spin to the usual Belgian dark style strong that isn't often seen.

Taster at brewery. Amber with small creamy head. Aroma is yeast and malts, malt becoming more dominant in the taste. Still has some of that Belgian funk.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle shared with Keen. Hazy deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Sweet floral malts, fluffy cream and caramel. Tangy fruits and mild spice. Ripe fruits. More spice on the light dry finish which also shows estery sweetness. Tasty enough and hides the abv well.
