Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is roasted malt with vanilla, cocoa, creamy lactose, some coffee, chocolate, nuts. Flavour is sweet with a light bitterness. Body is full. Very lactic with vanilla, creamy with milky cocoa. Good stuff!

Can at home, from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 14th May 2020. Pours a black beer. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, light coffee. Taste is pretty sweet, milk chocolate, coffee, not much vanilla, very sweet, too much for me, not sure why the lactose, it’s still a reasonable beer.

0.33 l can from 'Beerdome', best before April 2021. Pitch black, no head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, lactose and some vanilla. Fairly sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, lactose and vanilla, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and a little powdery finish with quite some coffee. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Really pleasant beer, nicely roasty and therefore not too sweet, the low carbonation fits in very well. Good Stout from Walhalla, I really admire the consistency of this brewery recently.
