50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. No head. Clear golden pour. Lots of apples. Very easy drinking. The best cider I’ve had in ages.

500ml bottle from New Forest Cider, Borough Market. Exceedingly good cider, fruity and rich with overripe apples and just the right amount of dry earthiness on the finish.

Hazy med amber golden color. Mildly spicy nose if nutmeg and cinnamon and raisins. Unbelievable sweet and tart mouth showing cinnamon, brandy, stewed apples. Great balance of acidity. Puckering dry finish. Stewed apples and cinnamon just linger despite the dryness at the end. Wow. This is the type of English cider I’ve been looking for.

Cask @ The Castle Inn, West Lulworth - The permanent Dorset Cider Festival. Unclear, dark orange body with practically no head. Aroma has apple cores and wood. Flavor is medium sweet apple, quite strong apple core/ripe apple, wood and a bit earthy. Nothing here that reminds me about port wine, but it has a pleasant robust and smooth flavor at the same time. Interesting twist.
