Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma of sharp apples and white grape, hints of sugar and minimal funk. Apples and sugar in the taste. Very smooth. Really enjoyed this.

From bag-in-a-box at the Sausage and Cider Festival at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 24.08.24. Translucent straw colour. Almost no head. Lovely, smooth and sweet aroma and taste id sweet, red apples, apple cake, cinnamon and so on. And, perhaps, also Port Good!

Cask at Bodega, Newcastle. Orange golden colour, thin white rim and aroma of funk, apple, fruity. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, some core, with earthy funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

BIAB: Poured a hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is funky, mushy apple, musty. Taste is semi-sweet, apple, light leathery, tannin.

14/8/2021. From BIAB at the 24th Festival of Beer and Brewing at the Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket. Pours hazy dark gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is stewed apple, funky, musty, touch of cabbage. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a tart edge. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle split at 36 Levels Lost, thanks to 17/04/18. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is glazed fruit - ice cider like, apple pie, mellow orchard, straw. Taste comprises cider ice lollies, vanilla, glazed apple, funk, earthy orchard undertone, moderate sweetness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid funky cider, never too sweet, great balance.

Bottle at L6. It pours clear Irn Bru orange with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, sweet, sticky, bright, vanilla, earth, Irn Bru, must and metal. The taste is dry, sweet, sticky, sugary, melon, apple, pear, lemonade, wood, metallic aspect and bread with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate foamy carbonation. Quite sweet on the taste, good aroma though.
