Vraie bière de terroir, la Saison Voisin a une touche houblonnée (40 EBU) et une jolie robe ambrée. Faible en alcool et très désaltérante, elle convient parfaitement pour se rafraîchir par temps chaud.

Oranje geel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig bitter en hoppig met iets van grapefruit. Gaat richting een IPA.

Bottle split at Moeder Lambic St Giles, 20/11/15. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is straw, citric peel, earthy, light funk, candied orange. Taste comprises yeast esters, straw, light funk, bready, bitter orange, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pretty basic saison but ok.

13/03/2015 sample from 33cl bottle @ Beertasting by Jerre, Melden. Amber colour, aroma is hops, matly, spicy. Taste is fruity hops first, than light sweetness, enjoyable bitter ending. Note : should try this summer.

(Bottle, Le Bier Circus, Brussels, 24 Oct 2014) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange peel, dried apricots and slightly grassy hops. Malty, fruity taste with crisp-bread, apricots, orange peel and a fairly dry finish with a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty, but I have tried more complex saisons. Quite nice.

One of the first Géants beers but taken over from retired brewer Léon Voisin, hence the name. Very thick, moussy, cream white head, orangey amber colour, clear but hazy with deposit. Aromas of caramel, peach, apple, grapefruit, nutmeg, lemon peel, leather, ginger, yoghurt, pepper, earth and something vaguely sulphuric. Light malty taste, fresh tartness, fruity hints without becoming too sweet, spicy, earthy and yeasty, with a long, dry, hoppy finish as expected from the style. Very appetizing.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe, shared with jeevan. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Aromas of light grass and caramel malt. Taste is verging towards British bitter territory, not Belgian in the slightest. Caramel, light spice/herbs. Slightly sweet finish. Odd.

Decent beer, but a bit flat for a saison. It was a bit dry and bitter, but not nearly enough.
