Pint at The Rusty Gun pub, in the garden at the end of a blindingly hot day. The beer wasn't great, but I blame the beer. Odd flavour and regretted the pint. I am sure it would be much better.

1/3 pint, cask at the Old Cannon brewpub. Naked on the surface, scattered lacing, clear copper coloured body. Moderate smell of dark dough, mid-sweet. Malt-forward taste of bread and toffee. Smooth and clean bittersweet end. Quite alright (Bury St Edmunds 12.11.2021).

Gyldenbrun. Skumring. Veldig forsiktig karamellaroma. Smaken mest karamell. Litt frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning.

Cask gravity at St Judes Brewery Tap, Ipswich. Darkish brown. Not a particularly pleasant aroma, but quite drinkable.
