Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#38. Golden, carbonated bland, but fine with a seaview on a hot day.

Bottle in Brighstone, IOW. Unfortunately, the worst brew I've had this Island trip. Bright clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Airy smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy smooth malts, very sweet. A soapy thing going on in the mid. Touch of marmalade. Light and semi dry finish. Yeeuuuk, this is a clusterfeck. Please sort this one out Yates, yer other brews were pretty good.

Bottle from the Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma had honey, sour fruit and biscuits. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head provides 70% coverage. Light-medium metallic bitterness is brief and soon followed up by saccharine sweet fruit and dough with a hint of peripheral citrus sourness. Light. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Overly sweet almost industrial macro style lager. Not a fan.

330ml bottle - Clear yellow body, thin white head. Nose us stewed sweetcorn, with some sweetness and sugar cane. Taste is again sweet, but pleasant with a barley sugar ending. Easy drinking and uncomplicated,
