Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#76. Third beer of the Yarmouth pub beer festival this weekend. An island session beer. Easy, light hoppy, no problem down the palate, looks good too.

Bottle at Brighstone, IOW. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Grainy malts, a touch of creamy sweetness. Pithy bitter citric hops. Some esters that get slightly soapy. A light but fairly dry finish. Struggling to find anything I like about this beer, it looks fine I guess. Yates have been a massive disappointment after enjoying the other IOW breweries on the Island.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, biscuit malt, light hay - grass, light toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, hay - grass, caramelized malt, pale malt, toffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle from Harvey’s Yarmouth. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet, slight crisp citrus to dry finish.

17/7/2019. Bottle shared at the South West tour bottle share. Bought at Asda, Newport, IOW. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grass and straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle: Poured golden with white thin head. Aroma is nice light hop. Taste is hoppy cereal and grain.

Bottle from ASDA, Newport, IOW. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, malt, hops, fruits and has a nice grassy finish.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Citrus and some grassy notes in the aroma. Lemon, hay, grass and faint hints of orange and grapefruit. Quite dry but refreshing.
