As you head West along route 66, there’s a lonely diner serving the finest shakes in 100 miles. Malt Shake is a Chocolate and Vanilla Milkshake Stout that says what it does on the tin - the addition of fresh vanilla pods & cocoa nibs mean that smooth chocolate rolls across the tongue, whilst lactose and oats provide a creamy sweetness and velvety mouthfeel. Draft. A dark brown beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Draft: Poured a dark black with tan head. Aroma is sweet chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate very milky. Malt back.

Tap @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren, 5.5%. Clear dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, lacto, vanilla and bread. Flavour is roasted malt, caramel, lacto, sweet, bread, milk chocolate, vanilla and a little bitter.

Keg at MK VHX, 12/12/18. Light mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is sweet malts, cocoa pops, toffee, brown sugar. Taste comprises chocolate maltesers, sweet malts, caramel wafer, brown sugar, light candied fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not a lot too it but an OK stout.

Keg at the fourpure brewery tap room. A dark nut brown coloured pour with a a fine beige head. Aroma is dusty coco powder. Strawberry, Nutella on toast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet jammy fruit, chocolate powder, light chalk, milf roast, jammy fruit, strawberry shortcake. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, dusty. Fine.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear cola brown with a modest, frothy khaki head. So so, a bit artificial, with chalky cocoa, mild roast, toasted sugars, vanilla pods, brown bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light ashy roast in the finish, more dry cocoa, burnt leaves, vague vanilla addition. A little scattered.
