Inspired by a recent visit to Treehouse in the US where we tried their Moments of Clarity stout which is an incredible beer. We've used cocao nibs from Noble & Stace and freshly roasted coffee from Edgcumbes.

Can: Poured a pitch black with huge carbonated creamy light brown head. Aroma was strong maple syrup from the pop of the top. Taste is super maple syrup, sweet, boozy, sticky candy, finish is drying and fruity.

Can split at CBC Islington, thanks to Danny, 17/10/18. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, maple syrup on pancakes, sugar melt. Taste comprises sweet maple syrup, pancake batter, chocolate chip, sweet malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying clsoe. Decent stout ... does what it says on the tin.

Can shared in London - cheers to Danny. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Quite tasty, nice chocolate cake, maple, mellow roast, light bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pleasantly not too sweet in the finish, more fun maple, cocoa. Tasty stuff.

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Airy dark malts, little powdery dark chocolate. Maple. Light bitterness and a touch of tangy fruits on the dry finish.
