I'm so excited I had to put it in a fancy glass.... Jesus Christ is it good. Really the first hyped beer I've enjoyed that much. surprised.

Single from Kool Keg in Arlington. Lo-ball back at the hotel. Frothy, clear, dark amber pour. Really sweet, chocolate fruit bar, sharp caramel, rich cream. Lux texture, significant oxidation, warming. Really good, but kinda heavy & unreasonable.

Bottle: Poured a brown translucent with off-white head. Aroma is vanilla light booze. Taste is boozy roasted malt vanilla.

Bottle into a snifter showing well filtered ruby brown with no head. The nose shows pronounced notes of fig, caramel, smoke, and bourbon. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Lightly sweet with light notes of caramel and fig followed by a moderate bitterness.
