Cask, 1/3 pint, sample tray at Brewshed Beerhouse. Smooth fruity nose, hints of pale malts. Malt-fruity flavours, bread and noble hops. Some impacts of resinous bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink. Quite alright. (Bury St Edmunds 12.11.2021).

Cask: Poured a golden with white thin head. Aroma was fruity and malts. Taste is fruity with grain finish, very refreshing on a hot day.

Cask at The Cadogan, Ingham, Suffolk. Floral, citrus tinged aroma. Slightly sour element to it. Bright gold. A few whisps of a white head. Bitter, more so than I expected. A sweet afterthought in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Long dry finish. Not overly impressed. Somewhat once dimensional and not particularly tasty.

Handpull cask at the Brewshed, Bury St Edmunds. Golden and clear, with almost no visible head. Light aroma with fruit hops and a notable sweet-smelling malt backbone. It tastes pretty damn good: peachy sweetness overridden by bittering hop in the finish. Lingering bitterness on the tongue but few discernible flavours in the aftertaste other than some apricot and icing sugar. Not a world-changing beer but enjoyable enough to drink and a cut above so many of the session cask ales out there.
