A light, fresh and very drinkable beer with lemongrass. The Funky Falcon thanks its name to the funky hop varieties that are used. When you smell this Pale Ale it feels like falling in love. Everything comes together in these melony, lemony and lemongrass aromas.

Hazed golden pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Fine lasting tail. Lots of caramel malt here. Also fruity, lemongrass and pine in the flavor.

Bottled 330ml (Bierkoning, Amsterdam)
A bit hazy yellow colour, small steady white head. Kind of grainy, hop pellety, a bit flowery aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty with also grainy hop pellets in the flavour. But not really grassy pellety - has some hop oilyness, light pepper and even citrus. Not very exiciting but ok drinkability.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fruitig met iets van ananas en citrus. Is iets te waterig om echt goed te zijn

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - Light hazed golden pour with a white head. Sweet fruity with some notes of lemon and grapefruit, some lemon grass, straw, hay, light to medium body, subdued hoppy finish. Bit to overt sweet for me.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, citrus fruits, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at Pivoteka. Hazy golden, white head. Fruity aroma, subdued hops, trace oxidation. Creamy fruity taste, some mild oxidation. Full, slighylu caramelly maltiness. Bit citric. Okay.

Bottle from a Plus supermarket in Tilburg. Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, thin, frothy, off-white head. Subtle aroma of lemongrass, lemon zest, unripe tangerine, cake, hay, mango, some honey. It tastes light fruity sweet, notes of orange & mango, and medium hoppy bitter, a bit piny, with a very light lemony & wheaty sour touch. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, lingering malt & fruit. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice enough, a bit too subtle.
