A light, fresh and very drinkable beer with lemongrass. The Funky Falcon thanks its name to the funky hop varieties that are used. When you smell this Pale Ale it feels like falling in love. Everything comes together in these melony, lemony and lemongrass aromas.

12oz bottle at Foodhallen, consumed from the bottle so unsure how it looked. Nose is OK, honey, some lemon and lemongrass, lightly floral, some mild citrus. Flavor is honey, grass, straw, lemon, floral, light perfume. Finishes off dry. OK.

Really pleasant summery pale ale, fruity and refreshing with a dry finish. Good for having at the beach in summer.

Bottle from Pivný raj Cheeky. Lovely hoppy aroma. Juicy, citrus taste, lightly sour, lemon like. Tasty

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een oranje geel bier met een dunne witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een fruitige wat zoete geur. De smaak is hoppig, fruitig en wat zurig.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, slightly fruity nose. Sweetish malty, lemony fruity, light grassy and rather dry bitter finish. Nothing special here.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose has a whiff of diacetyl, but some citrusy hops take over. Medium body, fairly dry fruitiness and a very bitter finish. A lil rough around the edges this one. 030418

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2018) Golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles and tropical fruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, pineapple, mango, pine needles, soft malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing with plenty of fresh hops. Nice one.

Bottle at Beermalade. The lemongrass is quite light, but perceivable. Moderate sweetness though, on par with the moderate bitterness. Good one, but the hops character is hidden and overall I expected better.

33cl bottle from Beer52. A pale amber pour with a thick white head; fresh earthy citrus aroma; quite floral in the mouth with underlying citrus; and a dry finish with a slight warmth and a sharp pithy bitterness. A really tasty pale ale.
