This beer is one of its kind. Some people claim we've found a way to liquefy cookies. They can believe what they want. We say we've discovered how to make a beer that gets you reminiscing about days at Grandma's house, while still enjoying a fantastic brew.

Bomber from Craft City. Pours translucent amber with a large, foamy dark beige head. Med body. The flavor starts with a strong ginger kick, picks up raisin and arguably some oat. It pretty much tastes like the cookie, with perhaps more ginger than usual. Interesting and flavorful. Fairly dry, and the spice stands in for bitter.

Bottle: Amber in color with a fluffy frothy off white head. Aroma is fermented fruit. Taste is nice fruit with spices. Really like cookieish.

9th Feb 2017: 4oz glass in a flight at the brewery. Clear amber pour, off-white head. Nose did smell of biscuits, spicy biscuits with a ginger trace. The taste was sweeter than the spicy aroma led me to believe was coming. Interesting and different, a biscuity beer, not my first, but I am no expert on the ’style’, liked this though.

Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, raisin and cinnamon. The finish is raisins and malt. Captures the essence of the cookie pretty well, decent overall.

Bottle sample at a dessert beer tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Hazy amber. Aroma of gingerbread, lots of winter spices (ginger, cinnamon and more), caramel, cookie. Sweet flavor with with caramel, lots of winter spices, and a sourish note. Medium-bodied. Not my thing.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear amber color with a small, bubbly off white head. The aroma is seriously close to an oatmeal cookie. Pretty uncanny. Lots of cinnamon, sugar, raisin and cookie-like malts. Very aromatic. The flavor is the same. Big cinnamon, very sweet cookie, hints of molasses and oats. Full and sweet on the palate. Gimmicky, but fun.

Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is just like fresh baked cookies. A big cinnamon and brown sugar with a sweet raison. Flavor is a little less stellar then the aroma but I do get a sugary uncooked cookie dough with more cinnamon and a bit of banana bread. I’m a sucker for heavily spiced ales and this is a spice laiden beer. It is an abundance of spice and quite nice on a cold evening.

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish amber, medium beige head, dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma is huge cinnamon, ginger, raisin. Flavor is over the top spices, kind of pumpkin spice like, loads of ginger which I don’t think is in an oatmeal raison cookie, hints of clove and ditto, plus vanilla and cinnamon. Perhaps medium sweet, light bitter, some acidity as well. Medium body, high carbonation. This is definitely not the beer for me.
