Draft: Poured a hazy copper orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is citrus cleaner with malt background. Little harshness, but I think this is why its the bitterer version.

22oz bottle from a NoVA TJoes, pours a darker orange with some frothy, white head. Nose is very nice, grapefruit, orange, some pine and pine sap, a little honey, soap. Flavor follows, it’s not juicy - it’s pithy and dry like a Woody Allen script, piney, soapy, orange and grapefruit rinds, just a little honey backbone. Finishes dry and bitter. I thought this was very well done.

22oz bottle purchased at the local Trader Joes. Poured a clear orange/amber color with a fluffy, medium sized white head. Aroma was lots of grapefruit, grapefruit zest. Tropical fruit notes are more subtle here, with a blast of pine resin. Flavor was very hoppy, pine and resin, grapefruit. Enjoyed this quite a bit. Quite a bit like regular Bitter Valentine.

Bottle with huge thanks to Neil! Pours hazy orange, medium creamy off-white head, dissipates slowly with nice residual and lacing. Aroma is grapefruit zest, pine, melon, oranges. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, plenty of grapefruit zest. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Good, but the base is better, as is almost always the case with fruited IPAs.
