Clear, bright orange amber color with a small beige head; aroma of toffee, jam; smooth palate, balanced flavor with a long, medium bitter sweet finish

Draft: Poured an orange brown with huge off white to tan head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is rich malts nice alcohol tingle.

Draft at the pub. 2015 keg according to the barkeep. Nose is toffee, brown sugar, and a tiny bit of pine. Hazy rust with a medium beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet with a hint of bitter, and lots of toffee.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark Amber with a slight white head. Brown sugar aroma. Near full bodied. Flavor is mostly brown sugar/toffee with a little malt I can’t identify. Far from dry Far from bitter. Old school barley wine. Not very smooth, but it was a tasty thing.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy brown with an ecru head. Aroma of caramel. Flavors of toffee and alcohol. Big boozy finish.
