Last one before I left town.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy brown color with a film of a white head. Barely any lacing lurked as the beer went down.
The smell had a nice roasty nutty sweet and somewhat chocolaty goodness.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this sat about a light to medium with a nice sessionability about it. It left a really nice roasty nutty sweetness rolling over my tongue, somewhat soft and creamy texture.
Overall, really nice brown ale that makes up for some of their other ones

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a hazy brown color with a medium and rocky light tan head that recedes slowly. Spotty lacing. The aroma is malty with notes of brown sugar and nuts. Medium-bodied and sweet with malt, caramel and nut flavors that have a slight hops undercurrent. The finish is malty with notes of dark fruit and hops. Slightly above average overall.
