Bottle. Raspberry, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet raspberry and light wheat malt flavor. Light body. Tolerable but not much malt comes out in the flavor.

12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A hazy pale amber pour with a fast fading bright white head; sour raspberry aroma; sweet raspberry taste; with a dry metallic finish - perhaps from the coriander. Fresh and not too sickly.

Pours a cloudy straw from a bottle, quick-dissipating thin white head with no lacing. Smells saccharine sweet, tastes like soda. Meh.

Pas fameuse celle-ci! Elle sent plutôt bon au début (même si c’est plus proche du jus que de la bière) mais il n’y a pas d’équilibre. Très fade et terreuse en finale...

Can: Poured a light yellow color ale with a light bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of fake raspberry syrup is quite awful with quite a bit of residual sugars. This is closer to a cooler than beer. Taste is a mix between some grainy wheat malt notes with quite a bit of residual sugar and way too much of the awful raspberry syrup. Body is light with good carbonation. I wasn’t expecting some kind of masterpiece but what a bunch of crap this beer was.

Continuing on my Shock Top kick, next up is this one.
Most of the time this was poured into a pint glass, but because it says Belgian on the label, I did pour this once into a chalice and once into a snifter, there wasn’t any noticeable difference.
The appearance was a ruddy brown to almost a slight red color with a decent looking half fingered white foamy and bubbly head. This head rapidly dissipated into oblivion leaving nothing on top of the beer itself. What lacing, there wasn’t any.
The smell, well that definitely had the raspberry to it. There was some light wheaty/breadiness about it as well.
The taste was basically raspberry and wheat and it was fairly well combined.
The palate, well, it sat about a light to medium on the body and showed a fairly decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation seemed not bad.
Overall, not a bad beer. I think Budweiser did what they wanted to with this beer. However, would I have this again? Probably not.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin, short lived white head. Aroma is raspberry and wheat. Sweet, syrupy flavour with raspberry and wheat leading to a dry finish. Medium body with a smooth texture and fizzy carbonation. Too sweet and artificial for my liking.

This white poured a cloudy amber colour with next to no head. Scents include raspberries, cheap soap and jam. First swig was quite sweet with flavours of raspberry jam and perfume. Finish is ultra sweet. Almost too sickly.

Sampled from bottle at Metro Liquor in Kelowna, pours a cloudy red. Nose and flavour is pretty sweet, with raspberries abound on top of a wheat base. Refreshing and drinkable, but really wimpy and a little fake. Meh.
