Bottle, 0.355l. Cloudy golden color with small frothy, fully diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of raspberry, bubblegum, citrus and wheat. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt, following is refreshing fruity with citrus and raspberry notes, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. I’m thinking about new song called raspberry fields forever :) However, taste is so-so...

Bottle: Saw this on the singles shelf for $1.50 and I just couldn’t help but try one. After following the label’s pour instructions to the letter, I’m left with a hazy straw colored pour with a modest white head. Fades away quickly leaving just more than a ring. Nose is fruity, a decent raspberry smell akin to jam. A little bit of raspberry up front gets very bitter and floral. I can’t really pick up the wheat… just a soapy tart artificial fruit collision. Unpleasant.

Hazy Yellow, Huge Foamy Head Last Rather Long Time, Some Lacing. Strong Raspberry Aroma. Taste strong artificial Raspberry, syrupy, very sweet, wheat finish. Seems like they went overboard with raspberry flavor, does not feel like a beer. Plus it is too sweet to be truly refreshing. Pass it.

12 ounce bottle picked up in Wyoming. Pours a clear straw color with a medium white head. A sugary sweet berry nose. Easy, smooth fruit, sugary, not natural at all tasting, lemon. Lingers with splenda.

Hazy golden coloured, orange tinted body with a two centimetre tall white head; doesn’t look too bad, honestly. Aroma of raspberries, very potent, with some icing sugar, a bit of light wheat and some cardboard. Medium-bodied; Assertive raspberry flavour bordering on fake flavoured with a nice wheat mellowness in the middle and some sweetness and fruitiness on the back end. Aftertaste is a pungent mix of raspberries, cherries, grapes and sweetness - a lot of fruit flavour. Overall, not a horrible beer - and more like a wine cooler than anything else, but a very fruity (read - artificial) beer with some decent wheat characteristics. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 11-October-2012 for US$1.67 sampled at home in Washington on 14-October-2012.

12 oz bottle given to me by my in-laws for my Birthday. The pour is hazed yellow white golden with a fizzy one inch white head that falls pretty quick. The aroma is syrupy, synthetically sweet raspberry. There really isn’t much else too the nose other than the artificial raspberry. The taste is raspberry, a bit less artificial than the nose, but still syrupy sweet. Behind the fruit sweet is a hint of wheat grain, than a somewhat unclean finish. The palate is light bodied, prickly carbonation, and a watery chemical raspberry finish. This wasn’t gross tasting or anything, just really a one note tune with the sweet artificial raspberry. Fun to try regardless, I appreciate the gift.
