Meh. It's pretty bland. Not getting any of the cherry. But a lot of earthy tones.

Draft. A- Malty, dark fruits, caramel. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Dark fruit, dark cherry, caramel, toasted marshmallow. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A bit unique but good flavors. I've learned that Rockmill isn't going to wow you but they don't make anything awful either.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle corked and capped, bottled on May 2, 2013, poured into a tulip. Dark copper with huge beige head. Aroma is light dark malt, medium body, well carbonated, with thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark malt, yeasty, earthy, caramel, with dryer finish (especially for the style).

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber colour with a creamy, lightly tanned head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, spices and caramel malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finishes sweet and fruity. Okay Dubbel.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a lacing, off-white head. Tart, caramellish aroma - rather odd. Medium-bodied, slightly tart, somewhat phenollic and then some caramel. Ends dryish. Completely lacking the complexity of the best Dubbels. 081114

Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a clear deep amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark fruits with some sweet grains and a bit of a cookie. Flavor has more of a drain note with a bit of dark fruits and toffee.
