Batch 19 is derived from a recipe found in an old logbook discovered in brewery archives dating back before 1919, when Prohibition banned beer throughout the country. Prohibition was enforced in Colorado in 1916. The pre-Prohibition style lager delivers a bold, hoppy flavor that is surprisingly well balanced.

Bottled. Brown red orange pour white head. Not much nose. Some clean caramel malts and light hops. Ok , can be drunk en masse. Like a dumbed down Brooklyn lager.

Bottle. Flavor is very reminiscent of the old Miller Lowenbrau. Dark golden in color. Taste is pleasant malty and balanced. Aroma is light and slightly sweet.

I drank this at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI, then I went to the hospital for 4 days (completely unrelated to the beer). This is the last beer I'll have for a little while, and I'm kinda bummed it was this one.

12oz from Orchard Fresh, Orchard Park, NY. Golden amber with a ring of white head and moderate carbonation; malty aroma; crisp malty taste with a touch of citrus; and some caramel in the finish. A vienna style lager, and rather good for Coors.

Corn nose. Crystal clear amber, thin fizzy head. Medium body, light sweetness, fizzy.. Still tastes of corn, but does finish with mild grassiness. I had hoped for something a bit less macro-ish. Maybe beer sucked before prohibition.

Reviewed from notes. She pours a clear golden color and leaves the same colored body that yields a decent half inch white foamy head. Fast rising carbonation is seen. Some light lacing is left. The smell is basically just corn/rice adjuncts, malty. The taste is sweet from previously mentioned flavors. It leaves a sweet aftertaste and has a dry bland finish.
On the palate, she sits light with some light harshness on the tongue, however theres a decent smooth feel coming through coating my mouth.
Overall, this is actually not bad, wasnt what I was expecting for an AAL. Probably would come back to this only if served and moreso in the summer.

Draft. A- Grains, bread, spices. A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Slightly hoppy, grainy. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp hoppy finish. O- A decent special beer from Coors. Nothing spectacular but better than their normal stuff.

Fin gyllen farge. Duft av malt. Lite skum. Smak av humle. Greit drikke øl på varme dager.
