Bottle at Grand Café Het Paleis at Schiphol Airport. Clear, pale straw colour. Persistent bright white head and lacing. Very fruity aroma and taste of tropical fruits, banana, apples and candy sugar. Also a hint of alcohol.

F: white not long lasting. C: dark gold to amber, hazy. A: malt, fruity, toffee, caramel, alcohol, yeast. T: malty, caramel, toffee, molasses, sweet fruity, hint of oranges, apricot, some grassy tones, medium to full body, average carbonation, has some “industrial features” so I think is overrated a little, but all along good beer.

300 ml. bottle. Purchased @ ALBO. BBF 27/08/2016. Rating #999 on RB. Sparkling lightly hazy golden, industrial fizzing away small white head. Nose is washing powder, esters, powdery aspirin, powdery & industrial. High carbonation. Taste is industrial, plaster, aspirin, dough, esters, something chemical, chemical honey, quite oily. Very industrial tasting – meh. Far too industrial. I am quite baffled by the very high score on here.

33 cl bottle. Hazy yellow straw color with good white foam. Aroma: alcohols and ethers, citrus, cloves and other spices, floral perfume. Taste: sweet with a little bit of sourness and bitterness, malt, spices and fruits, white pepper, lively carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour. Really nice thick white head. Sweet, spicy, caramel, yeast aroma and flavour. Strong, but not quite as strong as Westmalle, despite the same ABV.

Ambar clara. Espuma poco consistente. Aroma marcado frutal y a caramelo. Dulce el primer trago, para rápido dejar postgusto muy seco y amargo. Sabor complejo. Su gran mérito esconder los cerca de 10 grados que tiene. Para degustar lentamente en pequeños sorbos. Muy buena.
