Bottle thanks to father in law: Poured a clear golden, head formed bubbles on across the top. Aroma was very light malt and not very interesting. Taste is buttery and yet bitter, sour malt/grain as well.

2008-07-28, draught at the brewery, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Golden color; creamy head. The aroma is light, with light cheesy touch. Good caramel flavor and quite high bitterness. Pleasant.
2008-07-27, draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary, 6-3-6-2-11=28
Deep blond color. Strange Amber beer, with a very light cookie aroma, dry mouthfeel, chocolate flavor (really?). Correct bitterness.

Light amber colour. Light caramel body with hints of English hops. Fairly bland. Kind of a doughy yeast note in there, too. Drinkable, anyway.
