bottiglia 75 cl, schiuma fine beige persistente, color mogano/marrone limpido, al naso lieviti caramello frutta matura uvetta sotto spirito vino passito zabaglione, in bocca caramello spezie zucchero di canna frutta sciroppata, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Un'ottima birra per le feste, forse la migliore di quest'anno. 26.12.1826.12.18

Creamy light brown head stayed on a dark mahogany coloured still body. Raisins, dried fruits, Christmas & demerara aroma. Medium bodied, creamy to the fore with tingly clean back. Taste is much as the aroma with brown sugar, dark berry, Christmas cake, dark spirits, chocolate & hints of orange

Bottle from the swap at our Christmas party. thanks to whomever brought it. Just a hint of haze in this dark brown liquid with a feisty tan head that persists. Rich dark malts hint of oxidation some nice dark fruits bubbly mouthfeel. Pretty tasty sipper.

Bottle at tana del luppolo. Dark burgundy cor big bubbly yellowish head, fading. Aroma is fruity with raisins and berries, cookies and dark bread on the malts side and light spiced. Taste.is sugary and fruity juicy. Finish crisp, light sour. Ok Noel

Bottle from Bacchus Cornelius, Brugge. Dark brown with an extremely thin head. Dark malts retain a distinctive Belgian styling, yeasts and taste with a small sweetness attached.

Il gusto al naso propende per frutta passita e ciliegia. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma è formato da bollicine fini e dalla carbonazione abbondante. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è quasi pesante. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sulla lingua si depositano sentori di caramello, miele, cioccolato, caldo, ciliegia e vaniglia.

Bottle from Pivný raj Excellent choice for Easter! Well reminds all I love on Christmas beers, spices, clove, cinnamon maybe. All this well embedded into classic strong ale. Very nice.

Thuis uit een flesje. Redelijk helder van kleur, bruin, beige schuim. Goede smaak, maar gezien de abv had ik deze wat voller verwacht.

25cl bottle from Auchan. Pours a misty dark brown, large off-white head. Aroma has some spice, sweet dark malt. Taste continues along a similar theme. Surprisingly well balanced & flavoursome. Rich sweet dark malts, light spice, retains good strength. Like Cuvee Van de Kaizers younger brother.
