Bottle from own cellar, shared with Remko B. Didn't take any notes but just like the 2018 edition this Gooikoorts has great complexity. Still (one of) the best 'ordinary' Geuzes I've had so far. Wonderful!

0,75l bottle at home. Vintage 2019. light yellow hazy color, big white fizzy head. smells earthy, grassy, citric, cheesy, some oak, bit flowery. lovely smell. full body, pearly carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, funky, flowery, light berry notes, almost a tad sweet, noticeable malts, herbal, peppery. finishes bit dry and lightly sour with notes of cheese, citrus and grassy notes. very nice one, almost as much carbonation as the first one, taste wise its more heavy though, great potential to get there were the first one was.

Clear orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very rural, hay, earthy, dry, bit grassy. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very nice acidity, fruity, funky, dry, bit lemony, more fruity, soft bitterness, lovely stuff! Aftertaste: spicy, soft acidity, little bitter, bit yeasty, green apples, lovely!
Magus, mahe, mõrkjas, tammene, puuviljane, funky. Väga hea.

A very well blended gueuze, but it seems a little bit less awesome than the 2018? Some age might help. Nicely funky, not as much sulfur as I feared, but lot of goat and horse manure. Straw. Fairly sour, for a Belgian. Really enjoyable.
