330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes oranges Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, Gewürze, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, belgische Hefe, Gewürze.

Bottle that was about 2 years past its drink-by. Will still rate it, because it was good and interesting that way. Cloudy blonde with a nice low head. Big grapefruit nose, barnyard funkiness which certainly came with aging. Light malts as well. Tart, citrus flavors, not much hops left at all, but barnyard and some sweet bready malts. Crisp, light body. This made me think about the whole deal with BA saisons. They taste like this fresh, but with more hops. This truly is an agable beer.

Sampled draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Lightly hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Nose is huge on barn, lots of white pepper, wild herbs, almost funky, touch EU hops,… Taste is spices, barn, rustic, white pepper, slightly fruity with some spices, hay, tangy yeast and light citrus. Smooth, slightly oily, very easy to drink. Another beer which I tought was very good but has very low rating eh whatever.

bottle from saveur-biere.com. Hazy to cloudy pale yellow colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of lovely floral hops. Medium-bodied with a very pleasant malt base, slightly grainy, but elegant and light. Lots of floral, slightly perfumy hops with a grassy-resiny touch and even a touch of citrus fruit. Quite complex yet highly drinkable and very, very moreish.

25cl draft @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dorée brumeuse, col épais blanc. Arôme est fruité avec des notes de levure, le tout garde un côté frais agrumes rappelant la citronnelle. Palais est bien pétillant, encore une levure présente et ce léger côté épicé. On note de suite ce profile bio de grains frais, le tout restant assez bien fleuri avec ce côté fleurs des champs mélangé à ce profile agrumes. A noter cette légère pointe de mandarine et abricot qui accompagnent bien une bière restant assez axée sur une note de grains.

2*330 ml bottles bought in a mixpack and shared at tasting. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is subtle, slightly sweet and tiny metallic with old bread, hay and hints of banana, yeasty esters and spices. Taste is sweet, malty and spicy with bread, white pepper, lemon zest, sugar and hay. Mouthfeel is crisp and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and malty with white and black pepper, orange zest and yeasty esters.

Bottle from SB shared with three friends. A really refreshing beer with a thin body, but great, yet subtle tastes. Belgium yeast, coriander, green pears and elder flowers. A fantastic beer for a warm summerday but really enjoyable all year around.

33 cl bottle via brekeriet (thanks to Nisse666!), sampled on March 10, 2012BB 07/2012, Lot 261Hazy yellow color, small white head. Sweet, spicy, herbal, candy scent. Mineral, sweet, alcohol taste. Fresh aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Taste mellows out a bit when the yeast sediment is added.
