Bottle shared by Fonefan at his place. Pitch black color, small beige to light brown head. Aroma has malts, dark malts, lightly something fruity that I totally didn’t expect. Taste malts, dark malts, just a slight fruity touch, a bit earthy. Average body, a bit low carbobated. [7-3-6-2-11=2.9] -- Re-rate August 2014: Sampled @ GBBF. Very dark brown to black color, small beige to light brown head. Aroma is mostly malts and roast, taste is malts, earthy, roasty, earthy bitter. I don’t get any of the orange if that is supposed to be in there. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle shared with Tomer at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Looks great. Pours thick black with a frothy, tan cream head. Moderate roasted dark malts in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, some bitter chocolate, perhaps a bit of fructose, modest earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light dryness on the finish with mellow char, cocoa, low bitterness. Very good stout, though I wouldn’t guess there was any orange involved.

Bottle, shared with Leighton, many thanks, small creamy head, quite opaque brown colour, aroma of cinamon, light coffee and dark bread, flavour of dark bread and malt, cocoa, dirt and some ripe oranges in the back. A bit different, nice and easy.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2013. Black beer lasting tan head. Rich choc and strange medicinal aroma faint touch of choc and orange. Better in mouth bit of newspaper then interesting. Nutty. Strange odd different but good

Super silky smooth stout with no bitterness or dryness. Trace of marmite. Some malty chocolate. Subtle orangey finish. Smooth and sumptuos.
