Bottle: Poured a slightly dirty yellow color ale with a big foamy white head with good lacing and retention. Aroma of spices and floral hops. Taste is semi-sweet malt with light spices and floral hops bouquet is really interesting. Finish is drier then expected with an above average body and no alcohol detected. Very fine example of a Belgian pale ale and way better then its brune counterpart.

Rocky, off-white head. Hazy, yellow body. Nose of grass, dough. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter flavour. No finish, the flavour faints out right a way. Light to medium bodied.

Lightly hazy blonde with a thick reamy white head. Lightly spiced malt aroma with notes of cardamom. Sweet candy sugar in mouth, with nice orange peels and hops, and smooth bitterness. Nice little acid points and creamy body. On tap at Bier Circus, May 2005.

(Bottle 75 cl) Fairly clear, amber coloured beer with tiny, floating impurities and a rather small head. Nose full of yeast and diacetyl. Rather soft mouthfeel, very malty - pilsener malt. Mainly dry with only a weak, underlying sweetness. Very discreet bitterness. Verry accessible and drinkable. 151105

Dark golden colour, creamy head. Flavour at first fruity and yeasty, but turns unpleasantly bitter.

Orange to clear ochre; good irregular layer, well kept up by active carbonation, slowly receding. Nose of caramel, white candi sugar; sweet and spicey. Taste is less sweet, hay or straw flavour, herbal, little hops. Slightly peppery palate. Light bodied, reasonnably refreshing. A pleasantly drinking beer - strictly nothing more. No need to search for complexity here.
