Black with thin coffee head. Strong whisky aroma and taste. It’s very peaty and a bit medicinal. Unwanted sharp tang in the finish.

Draft sample @ Van Moll fest 2015, Eindhoven.

Sampled draft @ Van Moll Fest 2015. Black solid small head. Nose is huge redcurrant (which I mistakenly called cranberry when inquiring about the ingredients), light strawberry, huge sweet fruit with light chocolate & peat. Taste is an amazing balance of sweet redcurrant, light iodine, peat, touch strawberry, black chocolate, boozy, barrel, charcoal, equal parts of both with amazing balance. Big, thick & creamy body. Really amazed @ how well this works.

Tap at Uiltje bar. Black with huge light brown head. Massive peat, sour berries, roasted grains, some coffee and burnt malts. Later the berries and sour red wine vinegar take over a bit. Taste is medium sour and roasted bitterness. Medium to full bodied. All over the place, crazy stuff but not really drinkable in lager volumes than one small glass.
