Nice ber pour with a good amount of sticky frothy head. Great aroma of citrus hops with some piney notes and some rye. Flavor is more of the same, and finishes with a nice citrus hop punch. A really nice APA.

On tap at taproom. Pours a hazy copper with medium beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong rye, earth, toasted malt. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light dry finish, very good.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel, Montreal on 7th July 2017. Deep orange brown with off-white foam affording full lacing. Fine malt aroma. Fruity hoppiness and biscuit malts in-mouth. Berry fruits, toffee malts and just a hint of chocolate in the finish. Medium bodied with an engaging mouthfeel. A gorgeous beer.

Draught@Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Deep reddish amber colour with a mediumsized small head. Aroma is wheaty, some mild rye, quite strong on the floral and fruity side and also some mild resiny notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild rye bread as well as some herbs and mild wheaty notes to it.

Draught (6%) @ Lambic Foeder. Rated on 25.06.2015
Aroma has hayish malt and some grain. Also toffee and apricot. Flavour has strong resiny tones, ripe fruits and some hayish grain. Also mild ash. Slightly too foamy palate. A woody and dryish amber. Becomes malty, cereal-like and biscuity at the end of the glass.

Draft: Poured a deep brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light spicy rye malt with some citrus hoppy notes is interesting. Taste is also dominated by some citrus notes with some spicy rye malt notes with light grainy finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not sure what it is but I thought this was missing a little bit of punch.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel, pours a hazy orangey dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of freshly baked bread and slight floral hops, and some light biscuit malts. Flavour is a bit peppery, with toasted crusted bread, some mild floral hops and crackery malts. Easily drinkable, characterized by the crusty bread and pepper. Solid APA.

Uneven but bitter as hell. Pretty sexy beer. Tastes like sour dough bread - it puts an awesome taste in there. Tracing is awesome and the rye does wonders for it. This was among the better tasters I had at the brewpub in Montreal last weekend. On tap.
