F: not big, white, poor retention. C: strange pale yellow, hazy. A: a lot of honey, herbal, citrus lemonade. T: again honey but very obvious totally masking another compound, herbal, flower, bit citrus, light to medium body, medium carbonation, obviously there is market for such beer, not enjoyed personally, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.

Bucking the trend with this one. It’s actually not bad. Bottle from the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Aroma of honey and a hint of lemonade. That’s it. But in its way it is a lovely aroma if not entirely beer-like. Sweet honey-laden taste with a hint of astringency near the finish, which shows what a cheap beer this actually is. However it marries beer with honey better than, for instance, Leffe Nectar, and it’s enjoyable enough for what it is. Christ, it’s Floris. Were you expecting fireworks? Solid if slightly guilty 2.9.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting white head. Honey nougat aroma. Touch of bubblegum. It’s not horrible. A touch sweet. Reminds me of mead on the aroma. Then a wit beer finish. Some bite on the finish even. Fine.

0,33L bottle, 4.5% ABV (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours pale golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is very sweet, floral. Flavor is extremely sweet, honey, flowers. Overall: feels like drinking (somewhat artificial) liquid honey.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow, the taste is sweet and fruity but a little fizzy.
