Young addition to this range of too sweet ’unbeery beers’. Loose head, misty ochre blonde colour, very sweet aroma and taste totally dominated by sickly sweet (though authentic) honey, flowery, sourish hint. Lemonade-like with thin finish - if any - and the opposite of subtle. Very remote from the more traditional artisanal Belgian-style honey beers.

Bottle at Delirium Cafe, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma smells like pure honey, maybe a little wheat. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with shitloads of honey. Wow is this cloying. Nasty stuff.

Bottle at the Pintsman, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, honey. The flavour is super sweet with a sickly sweet honey palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. It’s what it says on the label I guess. Honey, sweet honey and then more of he same. If you don’t like honey then you won’t like this :-)

Yellow colour with tiny white head. Aroma is malt and a honey. Flavour is malt, medium sweet and honey.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy pale yellow, small white head. Smells honey, rotten, dead bees. Tastes honey, sweet, horrible. Medium body, soft carbo. Undrinkable.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Slightly unclear pale yellow color, virtually no head. Horrible dominating honey aroma. Tastes the same: a lot of honey and sweetness. Average body and carbonation.

bottle pours fuzzy, very light yellow smell is horrible . honey, in the worst way imaginable . nowhere near, for instance, mead some spices coming trough taste is more of the filthy-honey thing, some bitterness. ok carbo . buttery - honey - aftertaste . again, in a bad way . not as traumatizing as ’chocolate ’ but i’d never take any of these again ...

Bouteille 330ml. De couleur jaune et voilée. Nez de miel sucré, léger de levures fruitées (citron) et des notes d’épices, de blé et de fleurs. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux faibles notes sirupeuses. Goût assez sucré de miel (présent en arrière-goût durant toute la dégustation) et accompagné d’un léger goût de levures fruitées aux notes acides (citron, traces de mangues) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un léger goût de grains sucrés et finalement l’on retrouve un léger goût floral (ne semblant pas provenir de houblon). Post-goût court, composé de notes de levures fruitées (zeste de citron).

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours mostly clear yellow with a small, white foam head. It does smell like floral honey. Medium sweet flavor, some slightly artificial honey, white sugar, doughy bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, a touch syrupy, more white sugar and honey, some pale doughy malts. It ain’t a work of art, but I’ve had worse.
