Bottled 21/06/2016. Wow, flavor bomb. Boozy and rich, so much raisins, super vinous. Sweet, malty, woody, just the right amount of bourbon elevates it to a whole new level. Balanced? Not really, but no need when it tastes like this. Absolutely gorgeous.

Smokin indo, sippin Struise. Brown, Dark, Boozy, Malty AF. Caramel, raisans, chestnut, dates, copper, shellac, alcohol, rinse appelstroop, peat. Big sweet and a light, roasty, nutty bitter undertone. Full Malty Jacket, thick & slick. Cursed by bandaid.

Bottle, 330 ml from Beergium, shared with JFK10000, Max and Domagoj. pours brown with small tan head. Malty, caramel, raisins, nutty, some dried fruit. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness in finish. Medium to full bodied.

0.33 l bottle from ’Slijterij Hennie Berendsen’, 2013 vintage, best before September 2019. Gusher! Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of raisins, prunes, caramel, marzipan and hints of booze. Sweet, fruity-malty taste of raisins, prunes, caramel, marzipan and vanilla, followed by a long, warming, slightly bitter and rather alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very tasty, quite complex, pleasant mouthfeel and satisfying. Very good!
