Kan from Kambridge Brewhouse. Golden and clear with heavy visible carbonation and a loose yet sizeable white head. Outrageously sumptuous aroma which manages to combine the earthy spiciness of saison yeast and the pungent freshness of the lime. This lovely little marriage continues in the taste with a gooey lemon drop bittersweetness combining with the yeasty notes. Long finish with chocolate limes and pie crust in the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation but it just adds to the extreme nature of this sexy little beer. Yes, yes, yes.

Can. Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Gingery, pale copper colour. Frothy, sticky, just off white head. Nose has banana bread. Buttery toast. Some ginger and lime. Taste is sweet and a little spicy. Foamy mouthfeel. Very burp inducing. Sweet, gingery, spicy finish.

Can from the Craft Beer Shop, Little Chalfont, shared with Theydon Bois. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is aromatic floral hop, light fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a dry grainy light fruit, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can split at home with and thanks to JmgreenUK, 19/05/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is lime jus, spice, white pepper, straw, light bread, faint mint leaf. Taste is tangy lime, straw, white peppery spice, straw, lots of kaffir lime, hint of yeast, lemon rind, fresh grass. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, drying close. Tasty saison.

Can. Hazy gold - amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Traces of herb and spice. Floral lime is the dominant flavour but it lacks a bit of punch. Mild mild bitterness on the finish. Refreshing.

I assume that's the kaffir lime I'm tasting? Wow, that's dominating!
