All of Rick's beers are a little bit light. Good flavours though. Summer drinks

Local beer developed by a former café owner living in the Voeren area; in existence since 2010, but I have never come across it so far. Thanks tderoeck! Mousy, medium thick, lacing, off-white head, misty apricot-golden blonde robe. Aroma of banana, almond cookies, ripe apricot, sugarloaf, lemon peel, ‘frangipane’, strong solventy aspects (varnish). Sweet onset, crisp with fruity banana- and red apple-like notes, fizzy, slick white-bready malt body with a lemony-sourish accent thinly running underneath, meeting a strong phenolic and solventy ending with a dash of floral hops yet remaining (too) low in actual hop bitterness. Unbalanced, way too solventy as well as too sweet to be truly memorable, but I can imagine this being somewhat of a local success considering the absence of other Voeren beers.

19/X/19 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared @ Wim VL's Stoofvlees Tasting, BB: 6/IX/19 - (2019-1747) Thanks to Bierridder_S for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange to blond beer, small creamy beige to off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty oxidized, malty, grains, sweet impression, yeasty, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: weird, tastes, like mussels, pretty chemical bitterness, some varnish, boy this is bad stuff... Aftertaste: dry, bit yeasty, chemical touch, some banana peel, spices, pretty messy.

Bottle @ home. Clear rusty copper color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, slightly a touch of sweetish fruits and some sugar. Average to medium body, average carbonation. Meh, not really nice.

Hefiger aber wenig aromatischer Beginn. Das Bier bleibt im Verlauf schwach, einzig eine leichte Malznote kommt hinzu. So auch zum Ende, hefig, ein wenig malzig, flache Aromen. Naja...9/8/8/5/5/7

Fluffy white head over orangey, hazy beer. Sweetish, with a malt whisky background. Sweetish, greenery, sweet almonds and, well, not much else. Pretty dull-sweet, soft fruity. Medium bodied, certain slickness. Another technically perfect, and tastewise bo-o-oring Proef beer.

Bottle: Poured a murky copper yellow color with a thin creamy bubbly head. The aroma is a fruity spice, with some hoppy bite to it. The taste is a nice sweet caramel malt, with a spicy dry finish.
