Enigmatic Galaxies DIPA -
We love Enigma, and when we managed to get ourselves some Galaxy hops we decided to celebrate the celestial marriage of our favourite Southern Hemi Green varieties with a DIPA brewed with the guys at Track Brewing Co Together we came up with a grist of Super Pale, Munich, Flaked Oats & Wheat that was whirl-pooled and dry-hopped on wort contact with Enigma and again during fermentation with Enigma & Galaxy.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Friday 18th May 2018 cooking Jumbo Prawns with Tomato, Dill and Fenugreek, down the garden by the pond. Pours hazy murky gold with a white head, a sticky head atop. Quite thick in the mouth, hoppy with lots of hoppy burps. Quite pokey, lots going on, it's got a good fruit stab.Bristling bitterness, a little lemony, lots of malt. Good, really good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Hazy, deep orange. Film of leggy, glossy, white head. Nose has fruity, boozy esters. Bit of a ripe, put your finger right through it if you’re not careful, pear thing going on. Some spicy hop. Some spicy grain. Taste is rich, spicy, jammy sweet. Some resinous bitterness. Rich and smooth on the palate. Sits maybe a little heavy. Soft carbonation. Estery, and lightly resinous bitterness to finish. Grew on me, this. Just a bit heavy, though, overall.

Can. Very hazy orange - gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, perhaps slightly thin, mild to medium sweetness. Hops bring a nice savoury edge with mild bitterness. Smoothing pine into slightly spicy orange citrus. Finishes light and fairly dry and leaves a long savoury and mildly bitter linger. Goes down pretty easy, just would have liked more prominent hop fruits.

Can from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber colour lasting cream head. Some sweetish malt. Some tangerine and orange flavours, light herb. Some sherbet hop. Quite a full on DIPA. Some heat on the finish. It's got some deep orange type fruit flavour. A bit heavier than the BBNo and Cloudwater ones I've had recently. Different but deeper flavour. But feels bigger. As I say some heat on the finish. Good bitterness on the finish. Bit of a sipper.

Can from Salt Horse. Milky bronze body with a medium off-white head. Low carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of dried mango, rust and orange. Flavour of caramel, dried grass and blood orange. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Quite pricey but it’s justified - this is great.
