Jacques Scott in Grand Cayman: pours copper with off white head. Aroma is malty, herbal with just a hint of citrus. Taste is fairly much on the malty side; hop character attenuated but still sort of bitter. More an ESB in all that it does.

A coppery beer, a head is almost medium and blond. Aroma has caramel, strawberries, some citrus. Taste has toffee, also richness of malts, nicely strong bitterness, some wood, hint of fruits. Medium bodied. Closer to ESB. Quite nice.

Interesting, not too hoppy, some odd maple-y sweetness

0.33 l can from local 'REWE', best before September 2018. Clear, very dark amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and quite resiny aroma of caramel, orange jam, ginger bread, mango and pine. Quite sweet, just slightly bitter, fruity, resiny and slightly herbal taste of orange jam, mango, ginger bread, caramel, pine and some tea leaves, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather resiny, slightly dry and a bit herbal finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice old school IPA, not too intense but extremely well-balanced and round, highly sessionable!

Can at Hope and and Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured a medium copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, nettle weedy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, crisp, fresh fruity metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
