Tap @ kippis, Helsinki. Poured unclear golden color with a thin white head. Grassy and herbal. Lacks aroma. Flavor has herbs, grass, malts and bitterness.

Keg at Tønne, Leicester. Brownish gokd and clear with a small white head. Malty, gummy, piney aroma. Tastes similar: very malt-led with an intense bitter kick in the finish with gummy resin and pine needle notes in the finish. Reminded me of Sla's modus Hoperandi but with less oomph. Am I too used to sweeter IPAs now? At any rate it's a decent enough beer, although nowhere near the best from either brewery.

Can from Waitrose. Golden in colour, with a slight haze and frothy, white, head and moderate carbonation. Massive, juicy, tropical fruit character upfront, with some light mlats, a whiff of pine and dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Can from Waitrose, at Peter’s 18th October 19. Pours with a slight haze. Aroma is solid, pine, citrus and pithy. Taste is full on bitter, resinous, pithy, orange, grapefruit, it’s a really good West Coast IPA, loved it. Probably one of the best in the Waitrose recent specials.

Draft. An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Waitrose in Northwood. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, pine aroma and taste. It's quite bitter but still quite drinkable.

500ml can. Canned 08 JUN 18. Clear golden orange, grassy and earthy with some stuffy hoppiness, pine, resin and herbal notes. Not super fresh anymore, quite resinous and grassy.

Sample tray, draught at Fourpure Taproom. Upper part lacing, filmy layer, hazed golden body. Oily hops on the nose, citric hints. Hop fruity taste of orange, grapefruit and pine. Bittersweet fruity ending. Fine depth. Refreshing and likable. (Shared with Finn, Bermondsey, London 29.09.2018).

On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Very tangerine grapefruit flavour. Delicious. West coast ipa right up my alley. Loved it.
