A Mil Máscaras of flavour. This Imperial stout will wrestle your taste buds to the canvas in a Tag Team of insane sensory assault. Coffee, chocolate and alittle spice on the nose. Dark chocolate mixes with mocha, vanilla and spice, all layered over a smooth nitro-styling you never saw coming. This set-up finishes with a delicate habanero drop kick as the bell sounds.

(Keg at Kaisla, 20180214) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, cocoa powder and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A decent burnt brew with vanilla and cocoa notes. Too sweet.

Appearance- only black, opaque, a small brown head which quickly dissipates. Aroma- chocolate, toffee malt, fudge, vanilla hints, brownie, biscuity malt. Taste- thick chocolatey malt, chocolate fudge, coffee, roast malt, chilli, quite hot at the end. Mouthfeel is smooth, not massively full.

Keg at Brewdog, Doghouse, Merchant City, Glasgow, Sunday 11th February 2018 in the company of Nick and Anna. Pours black with a slim rim of light creamy cappuccino bubbles. Nice carbonation, some chill warmth, chocolate and a little creamy vanilla. The heat comes through a little more but I like it. Good beer. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9

Bottle from BrewDog Leicester. Black with shades of black, indigo and black. Very little visible carbonation. Aroma of hot chocolate with cinnamon, a touch of espresso. Sweet, rich taste with warming chili in the finish. Let down by the thin, flat body, but it's a lovely stout all in all.

200ml on tap at BrewDog Mitte. Shared with Finn. Pitch black body, spotty lacing from a film-type layer. Promising chocolate nose, moderately sweet. Taste of cocoa chocolate with a touch of spices. Prolonged roasted ending. Well bodied. Good drinking in smaller amounts. (Berlin 15.01.2018).
