Mama mia this one freshens up your taste buddies. Loads of acidity and lemon. Probably a bit to much. Ok I can stand it, but this one is not for everyone. Hibiscus? Hard to tell…

Keg at BD Brussels, 07/12/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is pissy nickers, acidic nostril twinge, lime leaf, lemon rind. Taste comprises acetic bite, pissy lemon, funk, grains, lime, yuzu, sharp citric tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a big acidic climax. Ok sour but overly acidic and lacking balance.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours unclear orange with a fizzy white head that fades away quickly. As with so many Urban Farmhouse offerings, this one has assertive lactic bite, plenty of acetic acid, lemon, tangerine, salty sweat. Light to medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Strong acetic burn in the finish, more lemony tartness, sweat, ripening orange, salt. A bit heavy handed but it has its moments.
