A 5.8% west coast bright red ale: burnt raisins and crackers balanced by citrus.
Liquid Mistress is our femme fatale – mysterious, seductive and disarming. She draws and charms drinkers with her full, red colours. You will soon desire her biscuit-and-burnt-raisin malt base, and peach and grapefruit spark. Her devious hop hit will steal your breath.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Almost perfumed, floral aroma. Rye? Very dark for an Amber - in fact it’s not amber. A reddish dark brown. Bubbly beige head. Sweeter than I expected. Fruity. A light bitterness is more prominant into the finish. As are the cereals. Medium bodied. Kinda chalky which complements the soft carbonation. Long if muted finish. Good stuff. a great balance of sweetness and bitterness.

Bottle at Smokies. Very dark amber prepares you for the theater. Aroma tends to heavy notes and so does the taste. Relatively sweetness is well accompanied by the beerness. Nice

Lane z casku.

Draught at Bootleggers Craft Beer Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, toasted notes, floral hops, biscuits, resins and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and caramel malts. Lovely.

One of my fave breweries and my fave style. This will end well. Bottle at the Curlers Rest, Glasgow. Dark ruby, flat. Aroma of pine resin, crystal malt but also a funky soy-y note. The balance is more pronounced in the taste: the redcurrant sweetness is tempered with the slightest souring note. An explosion of flavour in the long bittersweet finish with digestive biscuit, strawberry liquorice, and a touch of medicinal herb. Very well carbonated. Neither my favourite Amber nor my favourite Siren brew, but that’s setting the bar pretty high.
