Tap at KEG. Oily jet black pour, no head. Taste is amazing, mindblowing hazelnut - so much so that it feels kinda artificial. Still great tho. Taste is pretty sweet altogether, showing hazelnut, vanilla, booze, nutty notes, lactose-y sweetness. Closes with long lasting, sweet finish, Light to medium body (expected more of this), soft carbonation. Tasty, but liked the basic version better.

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a beige head. Nutty chocolate nose. Biscuit,cashew nuts,chocolate caramel taste. Boozy sweet finish.

On tap at Tilt, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted hazelnuts, light lactose, and some roast. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with lots of hazelnuts, lactose, and some roast. So much liquid hazelnuts. Lovely pastry stout.

Stark malziger Beginn mit Nüssen und Vanille, fast künstlich wirkend. Intensivst ohne erkennbaren Alkohol, Hafer, Schokolade, schlanke Süße, Kakao. Intensiver würzig-malziger Ausklang, wenig röstig, erstaunlich süffig. Ich suche das Haar in der köstlichen Suppe, kann aber nichts finden! 12/14/13/15//15

Tap@Peders, Copenhagen - pours black with a medium beige head. Dark sweet and light roasted malty with rich chocolate and caramel, some distinct hazelnut throughout, oily mouthfeel, medium plus body, nutty accented sweet malty finish. Good stuff.

Tap. Black color, brown foam. Aroma: a little toasted hazelnuts, caramel, sweet, a little alcohol, chocolate, whiskey and hazelnuts again, interesting and sometimes strange. Taste: caramel, a lot of hazelnuts, slightly roasted, chocolate, vanilla, sweet, powerful, nut paste, too pastry.
