A man’s GOT to know his limitations.

This is a 7.2% WA15 Magnum. Do you feel lucky? High hopped and dry hopped this is a fully loaded American-style IPA. Dark amber in appearance the three US hop varieties give a powerful, complex, yet balanced flavour and aroma.

Cask, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast. Shared with Finn. Hazy brownish body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Malt-fruity nose, mid-sweet. Stewed fruity flavours, toffee and ripe citrus. Bittersweet end. Fine depth. Satisfying. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

Red pale, good head on it. Malty, caramel aroma. Flavour is hops, apple, caramel, maybe a bit of rye. A good bittersweet balance. Really tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Craig, cheers Craig. Consumed at Cropredy, Fairport Conventions Annual Reunion, Cropredy, Oxon, Thursday 9th August 2018. Pours reddy colour, more bitter than expected, a little rough pithiness and ragged around the edges, fruity but dry, bitter end. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Keg @ The Brink, Manchester. Clouded reddish-brown with a creamy head. Crisp with a grittiness to its fruitiness, evident in both its aroma and taste.
