Die fruchtige Weissbierspezialität nach bayrischer Art! Dunkles Bernstein in der Farbe. Naturtrüb und erfrischend prickelnd. Besonders vollmundig im Nachtrunk.

On tap at the brewpub, Seefeld, Steinbach am Attersee, Friday 17th May 2024. Pours dark gold with a mid sized white head. Soft mouthfeel, a little creamy edge, good banana touches and a little spiciness, these attributes show more in the mouth than the nose. Solid Weizen.

Hefiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig mit leichter Bananennote, würzig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle. A- Banana, mild gum, wheat. A- Copper color, cloudy liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, banana, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Okay. Honestly a bit boring. I loved this style once but I think I'm running out of the best examples. Even felt a bit heavy.

500 ml bottle from the brewery.
Deep orange, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, moderarely lacing, yellowish head.
Sweet, creamy aroma of banana cake, vanilla, spices, bubblegum, some bread.
Tastes of spices, banana, orange, citrus, bread, some vanilla, some bubblegum.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, fruity, yeasty, bready, slightly hoppy.

Very nice. The nose is really lovely, taste is more typical for the style, but quaffable and refreshing. Overall I really enjoyed this, among my favourite Weizens from Austria.
