We enjoy brewing Imperial Fruited Stouts and this beer is no exception. Raspberry Crash is a chewy Imperial Stout which we re-fermented on raspberries before infusing it with vanilla and cacao nibs. Raspberry Crash is best served just below room temperature to enjoy the full flavour of chocolate and ripe raspberries.

Tap. Pint Shop, Cambridge. Best part of 15 quid a pint. Nearly black at a guess. It’s hard to tell in here. Nose has raspberry ripple ice cream. Raspberry truffle. Grated dark chocolate. Soggy chocolate sponge. Some coffee fudge. Taste is tangy and tart, with a dark chocolate sweetness. Only a light bitterness here. Smooth mouthfeel. Doesn’t feel the ABV, probably down to the tanginess. Fine carbonation. Long, raspberry twang to finish. Predictably good.
