We enjoy brewing Imperial Fruited Stouts and this beer is no exception. Raspberry Crash is a chewy Imperial Stout which we re-fermented on raspberries before infusing it with vanilla and cacao nibs. Raspberry Crash is best served just below room temperature to enjoy the full flavour of chocolate and ripe raspberries.

440mml. can. @Home, 07/11/2019. Opaque dark brown to black colour with a small tan head. Poor retention. Aroma is dark chocolate, full of raspberry, soft vanilla and cocoa nibs. Taste is full of raspberry and cocoa nibs. Tasty but 440mml, is too much. Next one please!

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Fairly light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, sweetish, modest dark chocolate. Well integrated raspberry, strident and pippy but, thank Bacchus, lacking any acidic shite that the sour heads have to buy pills for, strange lot that they are! Good impy, bit given this was based on that wonderful Sakura beer, it feels a bit thin. Richer more chocolate malts, like the Sakura impy, would have put this in comfortable 4+ territory. As it stands, thinnish but highly drinkable.

440ml can. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of raspberries, chocolate, vanilla. Taste of tart raspberries, chocolate, sweet vanilla, light roast malt, caramel, tangy and slightly sour, smooth. Full bodied. Definitely needed to let this one warm up.

Keg @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Black with an excellent balance of roasted malts and raspberry. It's strong tasting but nothing like its strength, and remains flavoursome.
