Draught Huge, stable, lightly yellowish head over fully hazy ochre beer. Sourish, citrussy nose, with fresh (C)hop notes. Bit nutty too, hazelnuts, and lots of citruspeel, bit of ureum. Sweetish-fruity with hints of fruitacids. Again this nutty streak, hazelnutoil for dressings. Unfortunately, the flavours fade, leaving an almost neutral aftertaste; the ureum remaining. Quite hopoilslick, bit chewy, medium bodied, good carbonation. All in all, rather demure for La Source.

Trevlig

Heard pretty good things about this one, so i'm curious to what sounds like one of the first good NEIPA's from BE ? The can, bought at Borger Bottles, opens with a bit of gushing. When poured in a glass, nearly everything is foam. This is one carbonated drink ! as the scent fills the room, i get from a distance , citric, pineapple, mild tropical, full aroma. Closer in, I recognize a mild stonefruit character, and a tad tropical features. The Taste is full, fairly creamy, medium bitterness ( medium low to low in general, medium high in NEIPA ). Rich citric, pineapple fruityness. Mild stonefruit ( recognizable, but not the upperhand) . Fairly easy going. Not AS creamy as hoped, but certainly going the right direction. Higher than desired carbonation, but not as high as feared after the pour (which of course removed some, so... ) .Very nice ! slight room for improvement, but more than respectable !
